Five fronts where unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and poor practices slip past on a live mine, and why CCTV watched by people alone cannot keep up in a pit that never sleeps.

Every gap above has an answer below: how the AI sees your pit and plant, what it detects across haul trucks, slopes, conveyors, dust and blast zones, how alerts become action, the analytics you get, and a deployment that fits your existing cameras and Saudi data rules.

Built on data-driven video analytics, computer vision that watches live feeds and understands what it sees. The same AI runs across any input on your mine: your existing pit and plant CCTV, drones flying the highwalls, autonomous robot dogs walking remote benches, and worker-worn smart helmets, all connected into one platform and one app, and processed on-site inside the Kingdom. We keep the engine proprietary; what follows is how it works for your operation.

The brain behind every source, computer vision analyses each frame in real time and flags haul-truck proximity, slope cracks, dust breaches, blast intrusions, fatigue and PPE gaps the moment they appear.

Runs on the cameras you already operate, fixed, PTZ and thermal across the highwalls, ramps, crushers, conveyors and stockpiles, with no rip-and-replace in most sites.

Survey drones carry the same AI across the highwalls, blast patterns and tailings ponds, capturing the faces no fixed camera can see.

A four-legged robot walks remote benches and underground drives on its own, taking the AI into headings where fixed cameras cannot reach.

Miner-worn helmets with an on-board camera add a first-person view, fatigue detection and lone-worker protection to the same system.

All analysis runs on a secure unit at your site, so footage and data stay inside the Kingdom, in line with PDPL.

Every camera, drone, robot and helmet feeds a single platform and one app, one place to watch the whole site, verify alerts and act. Add a new device and it simply appears in the same view.
We adapt to your operation, you don't rebuild for us. The AI runs on the pit, plant and stockpile cameras you already have: a small on-site edge unit pulls the video, your cameras and VMS keep running untouched, and in most mines nothing is replaced. Built for Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 mining mandate and PDPL, with data residency kept inside the Kingdom.

In 70–80% of sites your existing cameras are reused as they are. We connect over standard RTSP / ONVIF, compatible with virtually any IP camera.

A small on-site sidecar unit pulls the camera streams. Your cameras and current VMS keep running exactly as they do today, no disruption.

A pre-deployment camera survey (included) checks each camera's resolution, angle and lighting, so you know exactly what qualifies before buying anything.
We integrate with the leading VMS platforms used in the Kingdom, pushing events and alerts straight into the system your control room already uses. Not on the list? The edge unit also runs fully standalone over direct RTSP, no VMS required.
| Parameter | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution | 2 MP (1080p) | 4 MP or higher |
| Frame rate | 10 fps | 15–25 fps |
| Low light | IR / night capable | True WDR |
| Detail on target | head ≥ 20 px | ≥ 40 px for PPE |
| Compression | H.264 | H.265 (½ the bandwidth) |
Light on bandwidth, a few Mbps per 1080p camera; H.265 halves it.
Only alerts leave the edge, short event clips and metadata, never full 24/7 video.
Processed on-site, a site VPN or private APN covers remote locations; data stays in the Kingdom.
No new software for your team, the dashboard is browser-based; nothing to install.
The same pixel-precise AI runs across your mine — open pit, underground, plant and stockpile. Every haul-truck proximity, slope crack, PPE gap, dust breach, blast intrusion, fatigue flag and conveyor defect is outlined on your live pit and plant feeds with a segmentation mask, not a crude box, on the cameras and drones you already operate.

Report & audit
One console for the mining operations team. Overview, events, cameras, benches, zones, reports and live AI inspection, all in a single app. Every alert traces back to the camera that raised it, the bench or zone it sits in, the moment it happened, and the confidence the AI gave it. Mining Monitoring · Overview
Seven pages, live in our mining app today. The images below come straight from the running build. These are the same screens your pit supervisors and control-room team will open on day one.
viewkeepersa.com/VisualDefectDemo/mining
The mining landing page. A live safety score, PPE compliance, open violations and critical incidents run across the top, next to cameras online and mean response time. Below sits a 24-hour hazard breakdown, the hottest benches ranked, and a 3D zones map of the pit and plant.
viewkeepersa.com/VisualDefectDemo/mining/events
The working queue of mining events. Each one tagged by type (haul-truck, slope, dust, blast, fatigue, conveyor), with the camera and bench or zone that caught it, a severity, a confidence score and a status. An officer verifies, assigns or closes, and the response clock keeps the team honest.
viewkeepersa.com/VisualDefectDemo/mining/cameras
Every connected camera by site and zone, with live thumbnails, online status and the detections it raised. A technician sees what needs attention before the morning round.
viewkeepersa.com/VisualDefectDemo/mining/workers
Mining-crew safety built for the Kingdom: heat-stress risk on the bench, the summer midday-work ban, PPE compliance per crew, fatigue and lone-worker flags, so the rules MHRSD audits are kept automatically across every shift.
viewkeepersa.com/VisualDefectDemo/mining/zones
Mining zones drawn on the pit plan and the 3D model: blast exclusion radii, bench drop-offs, crusher danger zones, restricted stockpiles. Each zone carries its own rules, and any intrusion shows up in Events with the bench and zone attached.

Shift and daily summaries, PPE and blast-zone compliance exports, and incident evidence packs, generated automatically and exportable for ISO 45001, DMFR and regulator reviews. One click, and the record is in your inbox.

A live AI scan page: drop in footage or pick a camera, and the engine outlines haul trucks, slopes, conveyor belts, dust plumes and personnel on the spot. The fastest way to see the detection quality on your own pit and plant scenes.
